About
IONOS (formerly 1&1) is a large European hosting company that competes aggressively on intro pricing, with data centers in the US and Europe. It's a solid pick for bargain hunters who just need a basic site online without fuss. Pros: very low intro prices, large global infrastructure, free domain on many plans, free SSL. Cons: renewal pricing climbs steeply after the intro term, signup flow pushes add-ons, support reviews are mixed. Pricing shown is approximate intro pricing and changes often — check the host's site for the current price.
