About
DreamHost is an independent US host known for straightforward month-to-month billing and a custom-built control panel instead of cPanel. It's also officially recommended by WordPress.org, and it's a good fit if you hate being locked into multi-year plans. Pros: true month-to-month pricing with no long commitment, free domain privacy, generous money-back window, independent company. Cons: custom panel has a learning curve for cPanel users, live support can be slow at peak times, email hosting costs extra on basic plans. Pricing shown is approximate intro pricing and changes often — check the host's site for the current price.
